Giraffe Valances!!

A HUGE thank you goes to my sister Shiela for making us the most fabulous valances for Eli's dayroom!

Most people know we collect Giraffes for Eli.

It's turned into almost a "treasure" hunt...always on the lookout for giraffes!

It's a wonderful story about how God is in the details, and I think I need to share it, in full, in a future post.

After we first moved into the house, I used the valances that the previous owners had in this room:

Lon hated them!

He felt Eli's room was too "FUN" for "formal" window treatments!

So, I went shopping and found the Oh, So Cool Giraffe Fabric.....and they turned out perfect!

What Does a Non-Drinker Do with a Wine Rack?

She makes it into a Media Center!!!!!

When we bought new furniture there was this Buffet/Wine Rack and a tall Curio Cabinet.

Both won't fit in my dining room.

I chose to put this piece in my living room...right by the dining room. So, it makes more sense to use for magazines anyway.....I wouldn't want to sit on the couch looking at wine bottles.

Now if it was full of Kahlua bottles................... hmmmmm.......... :)

Now the Good News! We Found OUR House!

We finally found a house!

We will be moving mid-August. We are very excited. The packing process isn't much fun...but it's going to net us some great results! Yahoo!!!
