As much as I loved my Pond Play blog design (all the frogs and turtles at the pond in the background) - I was getting tired of it. AND not one person commented on it being cute. Kinda hurt my feelers. :) It was busy - I know - and some people don't like busy. I thrive on it!

Forgive me for the B O R I N G blog design I have right now.

I'm not feeling very creative tonight.

All the A/C we've been having to use with our heat wave we're having is giving me a killer headache tonight.

I'm tired.

Eli's had a couple rought nights, which means I do, too. We went to the Doctor today and he thinks he has an viral upper respiratory infection. No meds at this time...hoping to take care of it with humidifiers and saline and suctioning.

I'll re-design it when I'm feeling more inspired. Thanks for stopping by - and reading this most boring post ever! :) I'll make it up to you by having a GIVE AWAY!!!

Chipboard Alphas

Here are some chipboard letters I made.

They range in size from 2½ to 3½ inches high.

Chipboard is really popular in scrapbooking, and so I decided

to make my own embellishments. I adhere paper to chipboard,

trace letters I printed on my computer, and then cut them out and

decorate them. It's fun!

Here is my latest craft project. Storage for my buttons that I use on scrapbook pages.

I found this idea on a webgroup I am a part of: ScrappersChallenge on Yahoo groups.

It was a lot of fun to make them...but honestly, I don't think it's the best storage option for buttons if you want to take them to crops. (Crop = a place you go to scrapbook with others)

The baggy worked just fine! haha

But, when I get my scrapbooking space set up again in the house someday, it will be nice to have these on the shelf.

Altered Altoid Tin with Mini Album inside

Here is the craft I made last night at the party I went to with my friends Megan and Victoria. You take an Altoid tin and glue paper and embellishments on it. Then create an accordian album to go inside. These albums were to be "All About Me", so I plan to fill it in with pictures of all my favorite things.

Afterwards we went to Dairy Queen. I found it interesting that we all wanted one of the new Waffle Bowl Sundaes, but we each got a different flavor. I got the Turtle Sundae w/o the waffle dipped in chocolate. I don't think very many people get the plain waffle because the kid behind the counter made quite a big deal out of trying to get me to get it dipped. "No Thanks" the third time finally got him to believe me :)
